Solar Cell Simulation Power Supply Model 62000H-S Series
A low-cost, compact DC power supply capable of simulating changes in sunlight and time series variations of solar cells, as well as evaluating MPPT characteristics.
One of the most anticipated uses as a next-generation energy source is solar power generation systems. The efficiency of converting the direct current voltage/current generated from solar panels depends on the performance of the power conditioner. However, the power generation efficiency of solar panels is influenced by actual weather conditions, making it difficult to evaluate their performance. To enable testing of power conditioner performance without being affected by real weather conditions, Chroma has provided a DC power supply with a solar array (solar cell) simulation function. This allows for simulation not only of changes in sunlight due to morning, noon, and evening, as well as sunny, cloudy, and rainy conditions, but also of temporal changes. It meets the needs for not only testing the MPPT characteristics of power conditioners but also simulating sunlight variations due to regional differences.
